Forty-Two Places – The Tours!

Starting in 2021, you’re invited to join me on a 5-day or 14-day vacation tour of 42 places in England related to Douglas Adams.

Working with Nerdventures, a very special arm of Melvin’s Travel Adventures, I’m designing a unique itinerary for Douglas Adams Literary Tourists.

Literary tourists are travelers interested in going places that exist in both books and the real world. Literary tourists are fascinated by the life of authors and their works. You might be a Douglas Adams literary tourist if you find the idea of knowing how he wrote such cool stuff, where he lived, and what sort of pizza he ate, exciting and fun.

Does that sound like you?
Fabulous! I am in the process of creating vacation tours just for you!

Get on the mailing list so that you’ll be the first to know what our 2021 dates are. By joining the mailing list, I can send you itineraries, special guest tour guides, exclusive private tour opportunities and all the other delicious travel details I’m dreaming up for you. Sorry, there will be no hitchhiking. However, you may bistromath at your own discretion.

So far the plan is to spend a few days in London on walking tours to see all the places from Douglas’s novels. Then there will be an option for taking a bus tour around England for another week, seeing quite a lot of the country as we visit observatories, colleges, and the mystical site of The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy‘s financial records office.

These tours (we’re planning to do the tour 3 times!) will be filled with the fans and friends who love the things you love: language, architecture, movie sets, history, fantasy, comedy, time travel, and Adams, Adams, Adams! From the pubs he ate in, to the canals he walked along, let me show you what it is like to walk in Douglas Adams’s footsteps!
